Mystic Music Events was founded by cellist Thomas Readett, who grew up in Mystic and built his musical foundation training at Manhattan School of Music. Tom also serves as Artistic Director of the Mystic Chamber Music Series, and that same standard - the rigor of the concert stage - runs through every musician who performs with Mystic Music.
Every musician on our roster has spent years training for the concert stage, and it shows the moment they start playing. This is where conservatory-caliber talent — the kind typically reserved for recital halls and orchestra pits — becomes part of your event instead of someone else's program. You're not hiring a wedding band with classical training. You're hiring the real thing.
We don't treat a program as a formality. Every set is built around you and your event, from the piece played as you walk down the aisle to how the room feels at the last song of the night. Mystic Music pairs conservatory-level training with the flexibility to read a room — so the music adapts to your event, not the other way around.
